Hahah ya right!

Here's my first attempt of Bubur Lambuk.. or Lambok. Camno spelling ni. I googled the recipe. But of course, the portion dah lain la pulak.

Aku belasah masuk 4 pot beras, sudahnya kena tukar periuk sbb periuk original dah nak melimpah. Serious boleh bagi makan satu floor rumah aku ni. Nasib baik ada periuk besar.

Dah ada bubur lambuk/lambok... kena la ada rojak. Huu rojak ada tempe. Best siut. (Perasan sendiri).

Sedap ke? Boleh la... tapi takde la nak jadi mcm scene Oliver Twist. Hahahah.. Kepada yang banyak komen, lain kali masak sendiri.

To dad, Happy Father's Day. Esok asam pedas pari plak.. oh yeah.

C. Thomas Howell

also known as Tommy Howell or Christopher Thomas Howell.

Tetiba, this month there was a few of his movies playing on Astro. I actually saw Soul Man twice. Cerita memang zaman 80s yang bodoh, tapi cuci mata punya pasal, layan la jugak. It's about a white guy - C.Thomas Howell, impersonating a black guy in order to get scholarship to go to Harvard. His skin turned black due to too much tan lotion. Apakah?


Then, I also saw a movie called Tank. Nama aje dah mencemar duli aku menengoknya. It's about this army dude who rescued his son - C. Thomas Howell in an army tank (percayalah!) from a sort of illegal concentration camp run by the town's sherrifs. Talk about plot mcm haram. Tapi akak layan jugak uols.

So siapa ke C.Thomas Howell ni? Hahahah. He's like the hearthrob of the 80s. Ala Zach Effron la. Ya rabbi minat gila babi, babi pub tak minat macam ni. There was this magazine back in the days that would feature stories and posters about him. Tak ingat what's the magazine called. But my sis would ask me to buy the back dated ones which cost RM3 for 4 back dated issues. Dah la beli kat pasar je. Maju jugak pasar Batu Pahat tu.

That's where I remember reading about Tommy Howell would like a mature image and do not want to be called Tommy anymore. Hence, the name C. Thomas Howell. Hahahah. But then, I might be able to get my hands on his posters, but never get to watch his movies. Ye la zaman tu mana la ada cable. I saw Back To The Futures like 3 years after it's released kot. Check out how comel he was.


In fact sampai sekarang, I have not watch the biggest movie that C. Thomas Howell starred in:

Yes, he was in The OUTSIDERS! and yes, I have not seen it. Kesian ke tidak. This I suppose were like THE movie to be watched. Agaknya DVD haram ada tak cerita ni? Ke I've bought it tapi tak ingat letak mana. I do have the book as well. Pun tah letak mana. Check out the cast. La Liga, start your parade. Here comes the slew of primadonnas. Will Real have enough place to cope with too much ego, lantak kau. Personally I don't think that it will make much different pun.

Suddenly the transfer saga all over the world makin hari makin juicy. Latest news is that David Villa pulak nak join Real. Ayoooo... I was kinda hoping that he would come over to Chelsea. Hahahahah

How about Chelsea. Who's moving, who's staying?

Strikers - Oh akak senang hati uols, Drogba is staying on. No matter what I think he's good. Anelka seems to be staying on. Apa boleh buat, though kuda tua terpelihara, he won the golden boot this season. I seriously hope that Chelsea will feature more of Franco Di Santo. Mcm ada potential. Do Chelsea need another striker? I don't think so... unless David Villa is coming. uhh... is sheva finally retiring?

Midfielders - Joe Cole - enuff said. Frank Lampard. Micheal Essien. Mikel. Ballack. Malouda. Deco. And tah sape lagi. Deco wants out. I say send him out. Saki baki scolari ghost needs to be cleansed out :P. Some news saying that Malouda is exiting as well. I hope not. He's good. Chelsea could use a superfast player who can run up the flanks. I seem to think about Park Ji Sung. Hahaha but he's not available I presume.

Defense - Ashley Cole. Alex. JT. Ivanovic. Belleti. Bosingwa. Fereira. Carvalho. Sadly Carvalho wants out as well. I think he should move as the back line ups for Chelsea seems pretty solid already. Too bad for his injuries this season. But a slight worry. I think he will be better than ever at Inter with the great one. We don't want to sell players and then they become good and turn against us, do we? And to Barca, stay off Bosingwa!

Goalkeeper - Petr Cech - enuff said. But they do need a back up keeper now that Hilario sudah mau pencen.

All I can say is that can't wait for 2009/2010 season to start!

Hmmm on other fronts, these two are getting married this summer... but no news on the exact date.

Well I told everybody that it's from a friend. Tak la pulak aku cakap friend tu is actually my old buddy from school si Ima. She signed the card as Tim, Saigon. Mesti mamat hantar bunga ingat aku ni ada boyfriend Mat Salleh mana dari Saigon. Merah muka akak uols ambik bunga dari lobby and jalan 3 batu to my cubicle. Gagal misi utk merahsiakan birthday from team mate. Skang boss pun sudah tau today is my Birthday.

Getting flowers, what does it mean? Kawan2 perempuan kata, jatuh la saham. Nanti orang kata dah ada boy friend. Which I agree. But my male colleague say.. "Eh apa pulak. To a guy they will say.. darn! Now got competition pulak". Ye ke? He even volutereed to carry it for me and do free advertising to those who would listen that I got flowers. Gila ke apa.

OMG! And the discussion around the flowers doesn't stop:

- How many stalks aaa? Got meaning or not ( oh please don't even go there)
- Do you know who it's from? (of course I do! Unlike many people I know, I do not have stalkers trailing me around)
- Real ke plastic tu? ( there's some concern around this coz there's another bouquet of dead flowers on a colleague's desk, that's attracting ants and annoys the hell out of us).

Hahahah but all in all it was a lovely surprise.

Ima aka Timmy, Thanks a Bunch (no pun intended)! They are absolutely beautiful. (hmm you might not be reading this though)
