The good die young.. and the bad lives on and annoys us forever. Ok, I add on the last bit. I watched CNN today (wuhooo) just because it was the only channel that featured Heath Ledger death. Well.. at least in the morning. It's a sad way to go especially for someone who is very talented. Apa Kejad, Kejad Har!
The internet was super slow today.. either it's because there are thousands of people like me, suddenly interested to browse and read about Heath... or it's due to the public holiday in KL and Selangor that everyone is hogging the bandwidth to download Lingam's Video... (i hear a faint "ha..correct correct correct"...erk)
So what did I find? Indeed his name is Heathcliff. Named after the character in Wuthering Heights. How quaint. (checkout IMDB) .
Brokeback Mountain. The Patriot. Casanova (vair yummy). The Brothers Grimm. Lords of DogTown. And so many more that I can't recall... No matter how great he was in these movies, I absolutely lobes him in 10 Things I Hate About You. And all because he sang!

and seriously if someone sang that song in very public like him, i'd fallen too. but i'd doubt he was that charming in life. meh tanya ms piggy + naomi!

His name is NOT HEATHCLIFF. In every biography book, not once do they say his name is Heathcliff. They say this: "Heath Andrew Ledger was born on 4 April 1979".... And: "Sally Ledger had named her son after a DIMINUTIVE of Heathcliff.... She'd previously named his older sister, Katherine, after the novels Cathy." Diminutive means she named him after a PART of the name. Not the whole name itself. The same way she changed her daughters name, she changed Heaths. Not naming them COMPLETELY after the characters. But naming them only after PART of the characters.
